Kinsey serves as Chief Operating Officer at BioForge. Prior to her role at BioForge, Kinsey was the Associate Vice Chancellor for Economic Development in the Health Sciences at Pitt.

Previously, Kinsey served as Chief Operating and Administrative Officer of the City of Pittsburgh, as the inaugural Chief of Staff for national nonprofit Emerge America, and her first position with Pitt was as Deputy Chief of Staff to Chancellor Gallagher. Among other positions, Kinsey served in the Obama administration, including as Chief of Staff for the Secretary's Office of Global Partnerships at the Department of State, in the White House Presidential Personnel Office and at the Department of Homeland Security.

Kinsey has held leadership roles in several large-scale national and international events and is a veteran of six presidential races. She is a proud Montanan and currently lives in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg with her husband, Rick Siger, daughter Margaret, and dog Amos.
